Just because my cookbooks bookshelf is not full to overflowing is not a good reason to buy more cookbooks. This, on the other hand, has a nice looking collection of recipes, including a whole heap with some of my favourite ingredients. These include, of course, chocolate and alcohol (including champagne cupcakes, and chocolate beer cupcakes. Um, yes. They are actually serious about that latter one...). Droooool

Edit: I made the Kahlua cupcakes on the weekend - the recipes look like they make larger quantities than are normal for Australian recipe books (I got double my usual yield out of that recipe), and some of the measurements used were unfamiliar, but the book had a very useful conversion chart included on a separate sheet in the front, which helped a great deal. And, for the record, the cupcake was delicious!

Remember how many books I've got in my house? The one really important criterium for owning cookbooks is that you should have enough space left in the kitchen to actually use them. Otherwise it's all rather pointless. ;-)

I said I wouldn't buy any more of these...
